Нові кріноідеї зі Свентокшийських гір

У лютому 2022 року були описані девонські лілії зі Свентокшийських гір, у тому числі новий вид – Codiacrinus sevastopuloi. Назва виду дана на честь нещодавно померлого палеонтолога, який займався викопними ліліями – професора Джорджа Севастопуло. Знайдені скам’янілості збереглися у вигляді уламків стебел і, рідше, чашечок та крон. Вони є важливим свідченням великої різноманітності лілій у девоні Свентокшийських гір.
